Nestled among deep pine forests, lush green meadows and the jagged peaks of the Cattinaccio/Latemar, at 1960 meters above sea level, the Thaler Alp welcomes you to your self-catering holiday.
Here you can enjoy not only absolute remoteness and tranquillity in the mountains, but also a wonderful panorama over the Dolomites in South Tyrol. Anyhow, the Thaler Alp, built in 2004, offers you plenty of modern comfort: a fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker, dishwasher, cooker hood, electric stove and oven, as well as a living room with satellite TV, and a shoe drying room with a washing machine.

Hiking Holidays in the Dolomites Val d’Ega – Latemarium
Around Nova Ponente South Tyrol you may discover a variety of circular trails, mountaineering and high-altitude hiking trails, which lead through the breathtaking mountain scenery of the South Tyrolean Dolomites. For example, right on the doorstep of your holiday apartment at the Thalerhof you have access to the hilly region of Mount Regglberg, which is known for its picturesque walking trails. More challenging hiking tours also lead from Ega to Mount Latemar, to the Joch Grimm or around the Catinaccio Peak.
The high-altitude trail “Hirzlweg” in King Laurin’s Rock Kingdom also offers panoramic views. The via ferrata on the Santner Pass, which is easily accessible from your holiday apartment at the farm Thalerhof, also offers a wonderful combination of climbing and hiking.

Skiing holidays and Snowpark Obereggen Latemar – Thalerhof Ega
Just a few kilometres from your holiday apartments at the Thalerhof, the varied Ski Center Latemar stretches between Obereggen and Predazzo. In addition to blue and red ski slopes, you will also find a 6-kilometer black slope, a mogul slope, a slalom slope, a snow park with halfpipes, a learn park, and so much more! For over 20 years, the snow park in Obereggen has been known among snowboarders and freestylers for its exciting slopes, twists, and flights.
